Putting It Back Together

Now that you have identified what parts of your emotional well-being can be salvaged, it’s essential to take a moment to test them out, see how they work, and decide what role they will play in putting your mental headspace back together.

To say that all of these parts will work in perfect harmony is too much of an assumption. After all, these parts and all of their inner workings were responsible for how you processed the traumatic experience that rendered you feeling broken.

Therefore, the process of putting it back together might go a little something like this. Let’s say you have numerous building blocks scattered before you. The fact that these blocks come in various shapes and sizes would help you decide how to stack them to build a structure of durable quality.

To do this, you would probably use the broader, sturdier blocks for your base, the medium-size blocks for the middle, and top it off with smaller blocks. Any blocks remaining outside your finished structure will be deemed unnecessary.
